What was the highlight of Hotel Excelsior Ipoh
Good stay but can be better.
The location and environment of the apartment is good. It's very quiet and the scenery is also beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and the scenery from the balcony is very nice.
The water heater isn't good, it's usable but not up to satisfaction. The cooking equipment is also not 100% equipped, the place could use a skillet, a thong and a few ladles. The door knob of 1 of the doors came off with children inside and we had to call the staff to fix it. There are a lot of bugs in the balcony at night, so that's off limets after 7pm.

Good stay for 1 night, happy with the hotel internal envionment and cleanliness, no musky smell.
Location: good, near Ipoh Parade. Room: good bed, given our request. No BF requsted / provided. Price: Pricey than expected.
As we were there 1 night, very few touch points that was bad. All seems acceptable. parking lots were acceptable. some may find it narrow to exit, but better than another hotel that i cannot even drive into the underground car park (there is a shell station next door)

Basically pretty good except for the bags issues
Location was great. Very near to most eateries. Conciege service not up to par as our bags was nearly taken by another tour bus group. The front office staff didn't even notice or try to stopped the tour guide from another group. Luckily was saw it as we step out of the toilets. Can't imagine what nightmare we would have if our bags was taken by the coach tour group & we won't have any documents to check-in at the airport for our flight.
Tags should be issue to all stored bags with redemption tickets to have better control & management of customer belongings. Front office staff should be more watchful & alert
